A Writer and Ancient Egypt

Picture
I find Ancient Egypt fascinating. I have books, videos, pictures, and items all pertaining to this era. My husband told me I look like Hatshepsut. I took it as a complement, after all, she was a great female pharaoh.
Since I love  to learn about Ancient Egypt, I wrote a story about a ten-year-old boy vacationing in Egypt who gets caught up in a mystery. It's for ages 9-12. Readers will get to find clues in the illustrations, solve puzzles, and learn to read a few hieroglyphs. I'm so excited about it. I feel it's a bit different from the ordinary and fun.
