A BOOK IS THE TICKET
TO WORLDS UNKNOWN
by Anna Getz
Reading a book can take us anywhere we want. It can give us talents we can only dream of having without using a pen. It is so nice to hold a book, to turn the pages and even wrinkle them up a bit (as long as it's your own). Sometimes we need to get away from everyday occurrences and this is our ticket. Buy the ticket and pick up a book. Open it and begin to read.
Writing is a second outlet to somewhere you would like to go or something you would like to do. It is an expression of all that is within you. We all have our own style of writing, or voice, because each one of us has our own way of thinking, acting and living. While writing you can build a world and design it in any form you would like it to be. That is what readers are looking for: a different kind of environment, a different set of circumstances or a different kind of people. So--go write.
